2011

Wow! This year has flown by! Here is a rundown of my blog this year.

January & February- apparently nothing happened I just wrote about our vacation we had taken the last December......

March- Found a puppy,  Alexis named him Baby Charlie, and we found him a home!
              We bought a new (to us) car!
               Alexis started gymnastics and dance
               Alexis started asking for a baby brother
                Alexis got moved to the pre-k class at day care

April- the school I was working at is officially closing
            Alexis found her first imaginary friends Sally, Simon, and Polly the puppy

May- I got hired as the new Kindergarten teacher at Kingsland Elementary!!
          Alexis turned 3!

June- Alexis cut her hair..............
           We lost our sweet dog Piper.
            My brother had a litter of puppies and we decided to take one. Alexis named him Hobart.

July- Started working in my classroom, and started professional development for the year.

August- Alexis went to the beach for the first time.
               We went to Sea World, swam with manatees, and visited with family.
               Alexis and I started our first day at our new school!

September- We found out we were pregnant with baby #2!!!!!!!!!!!!

October- we had a good dr. appointment

November- another good dr. appointment

December- Found out we were having a baby boy, Jacob Olin Varnell!
                    Several cases of tragedy
                     Alexis had her first Christmas program, and it was adorable.
                     Michael and Hincapie entered their first dog show and won first place twice, and earned            two out of three  legs of their beginner novice title!



This is just a little taste of our year, but most of all we are happy, healthy, and extremely blessed! Happy New Year!
